The Chikowa Youth Development Centre is a mission-driven institution established to provide young people with comprehensive training to help them build a brighter future. As a part of the Chipata Catholic Diocese, the centre is managed by Comboni missionaries who are passionate about empowering young people to become leaders and entrepreneurs.

The centre's holistic approach integrates technical skills, entrepreneurship, and human formation to provide a unique centre of excellence in technical education. Its vision is to become a leading technical institution, providing young people with quality technical skills and equipping them to become the future leaders and entrepreneurs of our society.

To achieve this vision, the centre's strategy is focused on self-sustainability through income-generating activities. By strengthening the quality of training and improving facilities, the centre aims to create a high standard of learning for young people.
